The Humbolt
The Story:
The Humbolt part of The “TJB Uncharted Series” a collection of purpose built knives, tools, and EDC gear designed for saltwater environments and the demands of coastal adventure. Developed alongside the Folsom Pro folding knife and a compact fixed blade, the Humboldt was engineered to deliver precise, reliable performance for anglers and chefs alike.
The challenge:
Combining corrosion-resistant materials with a refined, minimal silhouette, the design balances professional functionality with a cohesive brand aesthetic. My contribution centered on translating early concepts into a manufacturable design, refining blade geometry for optimal filleting, and ensuring visual consistency across the broader product family. Created in collaboration with Cinco Design.
